Raising Money For Charity

Having an event to raise money can be super fulfilling but it can also be really overwhelming, especially if you don't know where to begin. Let’s start by breaking it down! First, you need to figure out what organization you would like to support and what kind of event you will have. Read on to learn more about gathering materials, managing your money, promoting your event, finding a venue, and more!

Gathering Materials

Something to think about for a sale event, is what materials will go into the products you are selling. If it's something you are creating, what will it be made of and what tools do you need? If you are baking or cooking, what ingredients do you need? You may also need a table to hold your products. For displaying your products what might you need? A basket for holding items, a tray, a stand, etc. For a performance you may need some special items, such as a musical instrument for a concert or props for a magic show. Make sure you also have a safe place to store money! Think about what signs you need for your event, such as listing prices, showing where to go, explaining your event, and whatever else is specific to your event.
