Clean a Park or Beach!
If you want to join others you can find nearby parks or beaches that are hosting a clean up! If you can't find one, you can always pick up a garbage bag and some gloves and get started on your own or with family!
Create Places for Animals to Stay Safe!
There are many ways to create habitats for wildlife, but here are a few to get you started! If there are butterflies where you live, you can plant milkweed to help them eat food and create new caterpillars. If there are bats around your area, you can create a bat box and make your backyard a bat friendly space! You can also certify your backyard as a Wildlife Habitat and show that you have adequate resources in your backyard for wildlife.
Start Composting!
Many cities have composting programs you can join in, and you can put compostable food and items in. You can also compost on your own! Watch how to do so:
